I’ve traversed the Simpson Desert, completed the Canning Stock Route in Western Australia, tackled the Gunbarrel Highway in the Northern Territory, and regularly explore the Victorian high plains.
Each year, news reports highlight travellers stranded due to vehicle issues. In the middle of the Canning Stock Route, we encountered Landcruiser drivers mocking the practice of reducing tyre pressure, only to admit they were running 26 psi, while I was under 10 psi.
The HYWAY CTI controller makes tyre pressure adjustments easy and quick, even while driving. Reducing tyre pressures decreases vibration and impacts, making vehicles easier and safer to drive, reducing mechanical issues, and extending vehicle life. AIR CTI helps to keep you moving, improves safety, and saves time by allowing pressure adjustments on the go, reducing damage to tyres, caravans, and tow vehicles, and is essential for any vehicle in Australia’s harsh terrains.

TRUCKS
AIR CTI reduces the need for expensive driver seating changes!
AIR CTI allows for on-the-fly pressure adjustments, making it easy and accurate from the driver’s seat. The inability to correlate manufacturer recommendations with load and terrain conditions hampers safety and profitability. AIR CTI simplifies these adjustments, ensuring safety and savings. The unique automatic Isolator valve prevents cross pumping and limits air loss, enhancing safety and vehicle control. By balancing tyre pressure in duals, AIR CTI reduces drag, tyre wear, and overheating, while improving traction, grip, and reducing driver stress.
Proven in Australia’s harshest terrains and extreme temperatures and in the Baltic States with freezing temperatures routinely below -25°F (-32°C), AIR CTI provides a robust solution. The benefits include increased profits, reduced downtime, improved safety, fuel savings, extended tyre and vehicle life, environmental savings, and reduced maintenance costs. AIR CTI is an investment that offers a 100% tax return and significant long-term benefits.
When movement and safety matter, AIR CTI is the answer.
UNIQUE CONTROLLER
AGRICULTURE
At AIR CTI we manufacture and provide central tyre inflation systems (CTIS) for vehicles including tractors and agricultural machinery. AIR CTI has a team to assist you to make informed decisions about the benefits and returns of utilising AIR CTI’s system and technology on farm machinery.
AIR CTI’s system gives control in unstable landscapes and improves your machinery performance while reducing your operating costs. When installed on farm machinery AIR CTI optimises wheel slip and maximises traction/grip, reduces rutting, maximises your yield potential, extending your seasonal access while reducing soil compaction to improve yields and soil productivity. In the paddock, the axle weight of equipment can be spread across an increased tyre footprint, reducing the negative effects compaction has on your soil and crop health and yields. With every pass soil is compacted where wheels have travelled, tyre pressures play a huge role, having a real impact on crop yields and profits.
Whether installed on farm machinery from new or retrofitted, AIR CTI’s system allows you to adjust and maintain the correct tyre pressures for varying loads, speeds, field and road conditions in various seasons being proven robust in both harsh summer and freezing weather conditions with the simple touch of a button, from your seat, while you drive.
Correct tyre inflation pressure is crucial to adding value to agricultural operations and AIR CTI’s system compliments your agricultural activities. Our knowledge and expertise provides valuable support for your farming, contracting and machinery needs.
BEEKEEPERS
There is no single tyre pressure suitable for all situations. Optimal pressure for sealed roads is not ideal for rough tracks; high pressure causes excessive vibration, damaging your Bee stock, your vehicle, and you. Tyres set for off-road are too soft for sealed roads. AIR CTI’s system allows the driver to adjust tyre pressures with a single button, adapting to mud, sand, or bitumen. The intelligent control system alerts drivers to slow leaks or rapid deflation, maintaining pressure until it's safe to address the issue. This technology doubles the lifespan of critical transmission components by reducing road impact. Thousands of Australian operators already benefit from AIR CTI, designed for Australian conditions, protecting equipment – which reduces downtime.
When relocating hives, the health and wellbeing of Bees is paramount reducing vibration & impacts during transport reduces death rates. This is crucial. AIR CTI helps maintain lower stress levels for both Bees and drivers by allowing tyre pressure adjustments for smoother, safer rides and better traction. Hives can be moved over all terrains, including bitumen, rock, sand, mud, ice, and snow, with improved safety and comfort. The system minimises environmental impact, reduces vibration from bad roads, and maximises traction and driver control. It enables access to remote hive sites, prevents wheel churn and track damage in wet conditions, and provides the best transport solution for reaching elusive hive sites. Tyre pressures can be set for different loads: high for fully loaded bitumen travel, medium for unloaded or dirt roads, and low for extra traction.
