AIR CTI - Components

Control Box

Constant Research and development has enabled AIR to reduce and simplify the electronic controls for reliability and ease of operation and installation.  Solid state components ensure reliability.  All electronics are enclosed in the compact control box.

Controls

Simple, compact controls provide infinite pressure control with one simple control knob.  All electrics are fused with state of the art, solid state fuses.  Warning lights are provided.

Drop Hoses

AIR CTI invented the SNIZENTITE DROP PIPE systems.  These special, thick walled, high tech plastic pipes are tough, strong, fatigue free, and look great.  Being semi rigid, these SNIZENTITE pipes fit neat and close.

Gauge

Simplicity is the key to reliability.  AIR systems use top quality non electric analogue live pressure gauges that always show tyre pressures.  This minimizes the chance of any future problems.

Isolation System

Before AIR CTI systems had a flaw.  If a major leak occurred,  all 8 tyres on a tandem drive system would rapidly go flat.  AIR CTI invented the safer solution.  The Isolator, an automatic valve that blocks the high pressure ducts when a disaster occurs.

At low pressure and off camber, air transferred from the low side to the high side, allowing the truck to tip more.  AIR has designed and invented an exclusive isolation system to prevent this occurring.  Special exhaust solenoid Valves are installed with inbuilt filters.  These filter contaminants and dust from tyre fitting eliminating potential leaks.

PPV and Tap

The pressure priority valve ensures priority of air supply to the braking system to ensure safe operation of the vehicle.

Rotators

AIR is the only CTI manufacturer that manufactures a rotating assembly to suit Australian conditions.  Rotators are short, sturdy, robust, reliable and designed for superior longevity.

AIR provides an ancillary tyre valve for checking purposes and for refilling tyres in workshop conditions and in emergencies.

Only AIR rotators are quadruple sealed to ensure exclusion of damaging elements to ensure long life.

Malleable press steel mounts can deform and not break under impact from foreign objects like logs, forklifts, etc.

Tyre Hoses

Quality individual pieces add up to a quality assembly.  Correct materials assure long life.  Availability of individual pieces minimizes replacement costs.

Each Tyre Hose Assembly can be assembled to suit individual needs ensuring an attractive and robust installation that will be long lasting.

Self sealing quick connect fittings ease tyre changes and are standard on all Professional AIR systems.  Quick Connect saves you time.

Quick Connect Fittings

Fittings including Quick Connect Twist, or Nuts and Tails as per system requirements.  The Quick Connects make tyre changing and maintenance easy.

Up Solenoid/Filter

Standard with all AIR systems is a filter/water trap and a continuous duty high flow solenoid valve.
