What is FASS?
FASS Stands for the Fuel Air Separation System, and is a system that eliminates air and pollutants from your fuel system of your vehicle.
Fuel Air Separation Sytem?
The agitation of the fuel increases the air and mixes pollutants from the bottom of the fuel tank with the fuel being pumped into your injectors in the engine. This is contaminating the engine, making it work harder, and reducing the Torque power/output of the engine. Diesel Fuel contains about 10% of air, and when it is shaken up this percentage increases, causing loss of power and causing caitation in your injection system.
How Does it Work?
Filters are used to separate the fuel from the air and pollutants, and unused fuel is then pumped back into the fuel tank, with the air and pollutants expelled.
