Tyres are the single biggest maintenance costs, and the number one maintenance issue that fleet face today is incorrect trye inflation pressures. Both Under inflation and over inflation will be corrected by AIR CTI, from the cabin whilst on the move. A 20% over inflated tyre wears out 22% faster, a 20% underinflated tyre wears out 20% Faster (Michelin). Over inflated tyres suffer more punctures, stone buises and penetrations, and suffer 90% more uneven wear, as well as increasing driver fatigue, suspension wear, tyre wear and reduces tye performance and footprint.

It is important to check your tyres do not get hot. Stop and feel the side wall, it should be mildly warm, but not hot. Tyre flex does build upheat, but only at speed, tyre fles at low spees do not build up enough heat to cause any problems. Softer tyres improve the ride and traction, float better on soft ground and reduce environmental damage, wilst minimizing suspension wear and tear and breakage, reducing axle tram and breakage. And if you get stuck or need even more traction, trucks have gotten out of bad spots with only 15psi in them, and 4WD's can be reduced even lower if the need arises.
