FASS solves a problem that had plagued diesels for over a century, air in the fuel. Bouncing, rocking and vibrating down our wornout roads shakes and sloshes diesel, thoroughly mixing in the air. This aerated fuel is then sucked up into the motor, while some is pumped back to the tank to mix in more air. FASS separates this air, providing pure fuel to the motor, adding power and saving fuel. Engines start better, idle beter, run better, and pull better, while using less fuel, and lowering emissions. And injector wear is also reduced.

Although the Air in your fuel many not be visible to the eye, it has been stated that "Normally No. 2 Diesel fuel contains about 10% of air in solution" (Catepillar 1990). "Some air is in all liquids, but stir it up, shake it around, and pump it back and forth, an a lot more air is going to be in your fuel" (Cummins 1965). It is agreed that air does not distribute power to the engine.

Eliminate Power Robbing Air from Diesel Fuel!!

 FASS creates a smoother diesel flow to the injectors by eliminating the air, vapour, dirt, condensation and water from the diesel fuel. Most fuel tanks are mounted between two and ten feet away from the Fuel pump and injectors. The fuel is drawn (sucked) up towards the fuel pump, during which more air enters the fuel. These impurities in the diesel affect the engine so it does not performing at its best, as the injection of the fuel into the combustion chamber is retarded due to the impurities. The impurities also make the diesel inconsistent, therefore upsetting the timing of the injection of the diesel.

FASS eliminates impurities from the diesel fuel (down to 3 microns), thereby increasing Horsepower, increasing fuel economy, reducing the effects of "Hot Fuel", reducing enging and cbin noise, reducing emmissions and smoke, and assisting a smoother idle and quicker throttle reponse.
