AIR CTI Central Tyre inflation/Deflation Systems provides variable Tyre Pressure Systems for all Trucks and has various Control Boxes that are programmed to meet individual needs. Trucks only make money while transporting loads on the road. Downtime, for any reason, is best kept to a minimum, and that includes repairs and maintenance. AIR CTI can help you minimise downtime and reduce expenses such as tyres, fuel and maintenance.

RULE:  Change the load, Change the Tyre Pressure, Change the Road, Change the Tyre Pressure.  This should be part of every Truck Drivers Start Up procedure.  It is critical to ensure that the tyres are inflated or deflated to reflect the load and the road conditions, this is to obtain maximum tyre life, and reduces wear and tear on the drive train, the driver, in fact the whole system.

Fuel is one of the major expenses, incorrect tyre pressure increases fuel used.  With AIR CTI  you can regulate the tyre pressure by the use of a dial/button in the cabin, inflating and deflating to ensure that the tyre pressure suits the load and the road condition.

Tyres are the single biggest maintenance cost, and a major part of that cost is caused by incorrect tyre pressure being used. Both underinflated tyres and overinflated tyres increase tyre wear*, AIR CTI will optimize tyre pressures when used correctly and will reduce tyre costs by 30% or more on your truck.  When there is loss of tyre pressure a light with come on in the cabin on the control panel, indicating this to the driver, and the system will inflate the tyre back to the required pressure.  If the light stays on it is an indication that the tyre is continuing to be inflated and for the tyre to be checked as it  may need maintenance.

Trucks benefit by less uneven tyre wear, Reduced suspension maintenance, reduced drive train maintenance, reduced accident rate, reduced driver stress, reduced breakdowns, reduced fuel use, improved handling, improving braking, improved ride quality and safer journey and better schedule management.

SYSTEM FEATURES

AIR CTI Duals PRO Gold

Electronic Controls: are solid state and designed for your requirements, typically two Zone allowing for separate pressure control of front and rear tyres.

Digital Gauge: provides live feedback and monitoring of tyre pressure at all times. Mounted on the dash the Driver is able to read and adjust the pressure as needed.

Rotators: Compact and Designed for ease of use,Safety and Reliability. Attached to extended Wheel Nuts.

Tyre Hoses: Attached to the Tyre Valve

Snizentite Hoses: Made from super tough nylon tubing, these are moulded to shape, tough, and easy to set up. These hoses fit close to the body of the vehicle and are slimlined, neat and tidy.

AIR CTI B Double

AIR CTI enables the Driver to Dial up the Correct Tyre Pressure for the Road and for the Load, which improves safety, improves control of the Truck, both steering and braking, and minimizes the wear and tear on the Tyres, the Drive Train, and the Truck.

Over Inflated Tyres will amplify bumps, be skittish to Drive on, Increase Stopping Distances, give a rougher Ride and cause excessive wear and tear on Tyres, Drive Train and Truck and Trailer.

Only 44% of tyres are within 5psi of their target pressure (American Truck Assn), Balancing tyre pressures on duals is claimed to lower tyre costs by 20% (Crossfire & Cats Eye), Tyre Pressure Maintenance systems claim to lower tyre costs by 30% (Meritor), Most punctures end up as blown tyres, often destroying its mating tyre in duals and causing other damage, Tyre problems cause up to 53.5% of breakdowns (American Trucking Assn),

Underinflated Tyres:  Approximately 7% of all tyres are underinflated by 20psi or more (American Truck Assn), a Tyre 20% underinflated wears out 20% Faster (Michelin)

Overinflated Tyres:  A Tyre 20% overinflated wears out 22% Faster (Michelin), Over inflated tyres suffer 3 times more punctures, stone bruises and penetrations, Over inflated tyres suffer 90% more uneven wear. Over inflated tyres increase the fatigue of driver, suspension wear, tyre wear and reduces tyre performance (Goodyear),
